Short answer: Expect a few metric tonnes for a commercial order of standard grades, with single-bag or pallet trial quantities available for evaluation. Full containers give the best landed cost.

What MOQ depends on

  • Grade: standard grades (SLS 92/95, SLES 70%, AOS 92/95) are produced continuously and can be ordered from small quantities upward.
  • Form and packing: powder and needles in 20 kg or 25 kg bags are the most flexible; drums and IBCs for liquids have their own minimums.
  • Specialties: LDS, electrophoresis-grade SDS, SVS and SSS are made in smaller campaigns, so the practical minimum is set by the production run.
  • Freight economics: below roughly a container load, freight per kilogram rises sharply — see how to compare quotes on landed cost.

How to plan your first order

Run a trial first: order a bag or a pallet, run your formulation and plant trial, then scale to container quantity once the grade is qualified. Tell us your annual volume when you enquire — it changes both the price and whether we hold stock for you. Standard export packing is described in export packaging options.
